Camilla Britten - Boutique Manager & Buyer
Camilla set up Knutsford Wedding Gallery with her mum Joy as many successful bridal boutiques are mother and daughter teams. She has worked in the retail fashion industry for 10 years, most of that time as a Store Manager for the Arcadia Group. She has a Management Degree from Lancaster University and is therefore a very organised and efficient person. Probably a “perfectionist” and with a natural flair but also a wonderfully warm person who will transfer her bubbly nature to you whilst enjoying the sheer pleasure of choosing a wedding dress and receiving general styling advice.
Joy Hinton - Founder & Buyer
Joy’s ultimate inspiration for the business was to create choice for the bride, not necessarily in numbers but in the styles that the boutique offered. When researching the industry she found that a lot of boutiques offer the same type of product and she knew that Knutsford Wedding Gallery would be different. Joy and her daughter Camilla set out and found some of the most fashion forward and couture designers in the world, and in 2013 Knutsford Wedding Gallery opened its doors to invite the brides who wanted to embody “Elegance with a Sense of Drama”. Now Joy has taken a step back from the business which is now in the capable hands of her daughter and their team.
Caroline Barton - Assistant Manager
Caroline is professional and approachable and has a really friendly manner, after years working in retail formally for Fat Face she is aware of how important a perfect level of customer service is. Always on hand to make your appointment special she loves to chat about the big day with the bride and her friends and family.
Sharon Howard - Bridal Consultant
Sharon as a PA for a number of cosmetic surgeons Sharon is no stranger to customer service and the importance of it to our brides. She is passionate about making the bride feel special and takes pride in helping her choose her dream dress as Sharon was a bride herself recently.
Rachel Shamot - Bridal Consultant
Rachel also is from a retail background working as a store manager for Aldi. Supermarkets being notoriously one of the hardest industries to work in, she is more than prepared for the bridal industry. Again with excellent professionalism and customer service skills, Rachel will know what you expect from this process, especially as she also married last year.
Lorna Chilton - Bridal Consultant
Lorna has been in the bridal industry for 10 years her career started as a pattern cutter for British bridal designer Lyn Ashworth. Now combining all her knowledge she is one of our bridal consultant and seamstresses.
Bianca (The Maltese)
Bianca who is definitely part of the KWG team who’s mummy is Joy and sister to Camilla often spends time at the shop. She enjoys giving her input and loves to be part of it all. Whether it’s woofing her opinion or just to sit on the brides friends and family’s knees to watch the show.
