The Process

Upon entering the boutique you will be offered a beverage of your choice; tea/coffee/water or Prosecco and bucks fizz! At the start of your bridal consultation we will begin to ask you questions about your plans for your special day. We will then take you around the boutique to show you the dresses explaining a bit about the designer and the feel of the collection. You then make your selection as you go around. Feel free to choose your own dresses as you wish or we can suggest a couple for you to try along the way.  Some brides really know what they want which is brilliant but if you don’t we are here to help with your selection.

We offer a personal one to one consultation with one of our expert bridal consultants providing you with styling advice in a friendly and professional manner, this will take place in one of our private rooms.  We have 3 bridal suites; The Purple Suite, for large parties for up to 6 guests, The Silver Suite for medium parties up to 4 guests and The White Suite a smaller more intimate room for up to 3 guests. All consultation suites are comfortable and completely private.  You will be given a silk dressing gown to wear whilst we go and select your chosen dresses.

We understand that your perfect dress is such an individual and personal expression of yourself so don’t feel you are confined into the design of the dress. We work with some very amenable designers who embrace design changes and can always usually accommodate.  We also have access to fantastic seamstresses with over 25 years of bridal experience.

When you have chosen ‘the’ dress we take extensive measurements, at the point of order we take a 50% non-refundable deposit and your dress then gets put into production. Or if you have purchased a ‘Ready to Wear’ sample dress the full amount is due as it is your dress and taken off the sales floor immediately. Upon leaving the boutique after you have chosen your dress you receive a ‘Knutsford Wedding Gallery Bridal Pack’ with all your relevant information in.

When your dress arrives in the boutique you will receive that very exciting email and that’s when you arrange for your Styling Appointment to go through all your accessories you may need, we then put you in contact with your own seamstress for the fittings.
